Kaufman Silverberg Library and Resource Center
Serving the Gray Academy of Jewish Education and the Winnipeg Jewish and General Community
About
The Kaufman SIlverberg Community Library has roots extending back to the founding of the Jewish Public Library in 1922. Founded in 1997 by the amalgamation of the Jewish Public Library and Jewish Day Schools' Libraries on the grounds of the Asper Jewish Community Campus, the Kaufman Silverberg Resource Centre currently functions as a Community Resource Centre and a School Library for the Gray Academy of Jewish Education. To honor the generous contributions of Nora Silverberg and the late David S. Kaufman z”l, the library proudly bears their name.
The library has an Advanced level of Accreditation from the Association of Jewish Libraries.
